About Elissa

Hi! It's me! Though I am not the problem, this little crochet hook is! My name is Elissa Faith, and over my lifetime I have tried every kind of hobby, I just never finished anything with the exception of a few years of counted cross stitch in my early 20's. As a child my great Aunt and grandmother taught me the basic granny square of crochet, but I never kept up with it. I tried to pick it up once about 10 years ago and made enough squares to make a complete blanket, but like always I never finished it, and never put it together! I just put it all away. Until 2 years ago I found myself desperately searching for a replacement to the hours of Candy Crush I was consuming. Looking through my boxes of hobby and craft supplies, I stumbled again upon my crochet hooks and yarn, but this time the difference was the world of You Tube instructional videos. Not being good with reading patterns, this world of videos opened a whole new change for me!

One completed scarf turned into scarves, shawls, beanies, blankets large and small, flowers, potted, wreathes and bouquets, placemats, coasters holiday specialties, bags and so much more and its only been two years!

Outside of crochet, I have 3 equal addictions....

NASCAR, Taylor Swift, and the Dallas Cowboys (in no specific order)! Of course the things can be watched and listened too while having a hook in hand! But none of this would be worth it or possible without my family. They are my biggest fans, and my first loves, especially my husband and my daughter.
